Muhammad Yunus

Dr. Muhammad Yunus founded the Grameen Bank and pioneered the concepts of microcredit and microfinance. For his exceptional work, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006, the United States Presidential Medial of Freedom in 2009, and the Congressional Gold Medal in 2010. He is the author of several books, including A World of Three Zeroes: the new economics of zero poverty, zero unemployment, and zero carbon emissions. (Scribe Publications: 2017).
